In addition, those who want to cruise further can embark at the World Cruise Center just a mile or so up the channel. There is another large marina located in Redondo Beach, just north of the peninsula, so, take your pick! |

There are several famous surfing spots along the coast Those who are really dedicated surfers can reach the famous Lunada Bay spots by clambering down the cliffs with their boards. There are other spots along the Palos Verdes coast that have more user friendly access. |

There is fine surfing along the sandy beaches just north of the peninsula, including "RAT" beach, Redondo Beach and Torrance Beach That is the Malaga Cove part of Palos Verdes Estates in the background. |
